Description of Aphanamixis
rohituka:
A medium or large sized tree, 18 to 25 m in height. Leaves
large, imparipinnate; leaflets opposite, elliptic-oblong, acuminate,
glabrous on both the surface; male flowers numerous in axillary
panicles; female or bisexual flowers larger than male axillary or supra-axillary
solitary spikes. Fruits globular, smooth, yellow when ripe.
Seeds with scarlet aril. |
