BP Tea is a combination of herbs Rauwolfia Serpentina and Camellia Sinesis.
Action:
This
carefully blended combination is an approved drug in maintaining the blood
pressure. The pharmacological activity of Rauwolfia is due to the presence
of several alkaloids of which reserpine is the most important. Rauwolfia
alkaloids belong to the general class of medicine called antihypertensives.
They are used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension).
Rauwolfia
alkaloids work by controlling nerve impulses along certain nerve pathways,
on the heart and blood vessels to lower blood pressure.
Safety:
In Ayurveda the human use of the leaf extracts, is considered safe.
Rauwolfia
products are contraindicated in patients who have previously shown hyper
sensitivity to Rauwolfia or its alkaloids. They are also contraindicated
in pregnancy, in patients with history of mental depression and active
peptic ulcer.
Direction
for Use:
Brew
one teaspoonful (approximate 2 GM) of eco-planet BP Tea for five minutes
in water Strain it into a cup. Milk & sugar could be added for
taste.
Doses:
One
cup in the morning and night should be taken after meals. Doses could be
adjusted with monitoring of BP.
