Prostate

A walnut-sized gland found in males, which surrounds male urethra at the bottom of the bladder. This gland has a function to control the flow of urine from the bladder and to produce an exact portion of the seminal fluid that carries sperm.

Prostate problems can be of many kinds, like enlargement of the prostate and prostatitis, which is a bacterial infection. As for prostatitis, it can come in acute, severe, and mild forms. The symptoms also vary, like when acute prostatitis occurs high fever, difficulty in urination, blood in urine, pain, and frequent urination. However, when severe or chronic; symptoms are frequent and difficulty in urination, dull pain in the pelvis and genital area, painful ejaculation and sexual dysfunction.

The major cause of enlargement of prostates is the decreasing level of testosterone hormone and with that increasing level of other hormones in the blood. However, prostatitis occurs cause of some infection (sexually transmitted), which spreads to prostrate glands. One should not avoid this problem or should not feel shy to visit a doctor cause it might turn into a fatal disease like prostate cancer.

Aromatherapy for Prostate

These are lot of different treatment for prostate disorders; Surgery can be considered as a last option left. However, Aromatherapy is a good alternative for healing up of prostate disorders.

Beneficial essential oils for this condition are Jasmine, Juniper, Pine and Sandalwood. Some oils, which also help to ease urination and fight infection, are Bergamot, Cedarwood, Chamomile, Cypress, Eucalyptus, Lemon, Myrrh, Tea Tree, Thyme, Sandalwood, and Spruce. Using Geranium, Cypress and Pine essential oils can relieve inflamed prostate. Lets see how these oils can provide maximum benefits.

Take 5 drops of lavender, 10 drops of cypress, 10 drops of eucalyptus radiata, 5 drops of thyme linolol; mix these essential oils with 2 drops of carrier oil to make it diluted. Messaging with this blend of essential around the lower back and lower abdominal area will prove to be healing. Use these blend three times a day and take care that the oil is always diluted.
