Profile:
Wintergreen is a small
evergreen herb which grows up to 15cm (6 in) high with slender stems,
leathery serrated leaves, drooping white flowers followed by fleshy
scarlet berries.
Uses:
It has a
history of use as a pain reliever. It is also believed to increase the
speed of healing for skin disorders, and when added to lotions, acts as
a natural moisturizer.

children, nursing women, or those with severe liver or kidney disease is
not known
